HENDRA VIRUS FOR HORSEOWNERS

Is there any vaccien  or vaccien in testing that they have made or know how to make?

any would you let your horses take that needel if you are in an arean where there has been an outbreak ??

Sorry I have been offline for a while. There is a vaccine being trialled, we are told that it will be available in 2013 - 2014. While a vaccine is a great risk reduction tool, and as soon as it is available, I will be vaccinating all of my horses, we still need to learn good biosecurity routines and keep these in place.
