Getting Started

Posted by katepurvis on September 25, 2009 at 11:21 PM

Hi Everyone,

I am just getting this website started so please be patient. I will get as much info in here as soon as I can.

I have included a forum page for anyone who wishes to use it to chat.

I will have a video page up and running as soon as I can get my dinosaur computer (with dialup disease to boot) to upload the files.

Hi Kate, congratulations, great idea. I can only assume this is as hard for you as it is for all of us, the trauma of loosing something we loved so dearly, the ridicule of those who knew the truth from the beginning and tried to hide it and the constant reminders of this deadly virus. Im not a forum junkie but will do my best to support the forum and inform others. Leonie Parker, proud owner of Braunton Park Baroque who tragically died at Redland Vet Clinic June 29 2008

Hello Kate, it broke my heart again to see the beautiful horses you lost in the photo's. I think what you are doing is wonderful and i hope it helps people like me understand the dreadfull disease better. You truely are a very strong and understanding woman and i wish you all the best. Cheryl

Hi Kate I honestly don't know how you are still standing? I am horrified by the way you were treated personally, professionally and as a fellow horse owner. I understand fear of this horrible thing, but I will never understand peoples insensitivity. I realise now after reading your story that I have lived in a false security thinking that we would be safe with no direct contact to the bats boy was I kidding myself. Thank you so much for giving to us when so much has been taken from you.. Kind regards Veronica
