CSIRO Australian Animal Health Laboratory in Geelong is committed to commencing a vaccination trial in the second quarter of 2010 using a highly promising vaccine candidate against Hendra Virus.
AAHL estimates that the cost of this trial is around $930,000 over 15 months. They have committed $330,000 and are seeking external funding of $600,000 to complete the trial.
